Determining which pension election to choose
In this video, I walk you through a retirement analysis with actual data inputs for one of my GM clients. You'll see a side-by-side comparison and projected outcome using their Joint Survivor Pension option as a retirement income stream vs their option of a one-time lump-sum.
Note: Your actual projected outcomes may vary as this is specific to one client/family using JPMorgan's 2023 LTCMA's. Actual client names, ages, etc. have been changed for anonymity purposes.

When does a Roth conversion make sense?
In this video, I walk you through the same retirement analysis I covered in my previous video with actual data inputs for one of my GM clients. I wanted to address the question, does a Roth conversion make the most sense given this scenario? Of course every situation is different, but in this case, it made sense as apart of this client's retirement goals.
Note: Your actual projected outcomes may vary as this is specific to one client/family using JPMorgan's 2023 LTCMA's. Actual client names, ages, etc. have been changed for anonymity purposes.

Making sense of annuities
While they should be approached with caution, they can be a useful tool in retirement planning if used appropriately. In our previous scenario, Jim and Jennifer decided to roll their pension into an IRA which reduced their projected monthly income. This video walks you through the implementation and projected outcome using an annuity for a portion of their IRA to do just that.
Note: There are a lot of different types of annuities and this example is showing just one of them. Your actual projected outcomes may vary as this is a hypothetical scenario. I've used JPMorgan's 2023 LTCMA's. Actual client names, ages, etc. have been changed for anonymity purposes.
